SUMMARY:Stroke Awareness Month – Education Session
DESCRIPTION:UPDATE: \nWe are pleased and honored to announce that Dr. David Huang\, MD\, has nicely accepted to join the stroke awareness session scheduled for May 26\, at 5:00 pm at Baytna. Professor Huang is the Director of UNC Hospitals Stroke Center. He is also Chief of the Division of Stroke and Vascular Neurology at UNC. \nPlease join us in welcoming all the speakers by attending the event. \n  \nDear Friends\, \nThe Triangle Lebanese American Center is organizing an education session related to Stroke\, a medical ‘emergency’ condition requiring prompt response from patients as well as relatives and friends. \nThe month of May is designated nationwide as stroke month. Medical professionals are taking initiatives to share their knowledge about this condition\, raising awareness about rapid changes in guidelines and treatment. As such\, it is with great commitment that our community member Mrs. Sherene Bitar\, RN\, MPH\, has taken the initiative and will lead the education session. Sherene has kindly offered to invite UNC stroke doctors to join the event and answer questions related to this topic. \nYou are all kindly invited to attend the education session.
